Step into the world of global influence and champion finance strategy as Reckitt's Global Finance Services Europe Hub Director. The Europe Finance Hub Director provides strategic oversight and governance across all European Finance Captive Hubs, ensuring consistency, standardisation, and performance excellence. This role is responsible for establishing global finance standards, RACI frameworks, policies, and KPIs while driving operational efficiency, compliance, and financial integrity across all captive hubs.

Your responsibilities

The Captive Hub Director will provide strategic leadership and direction for the captive centre whilst overseeing the delivery and accuracy and timeliness within the strategic partnership of their Region.

  • Be the escalation point for the Region on all delivery from GFS inclusive of priorities and goals of the region to ensure GFS delivery is constantly aligned and in support of those regional goals.
  • Establish and enforce global financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement RACI frameworks, KPIs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Design financial planning templates and methodologies to ensure consistency across hubs.
  • Oversee the implementation of automated processes and workflow optimisations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in financial operations.
  • Ensure all captive hubs adhere to corporate policies, tax laws, and financial regulations.
  • Strengthen internal controls, risk mitigation strategies, and audit readiness.
  • Act as the key liaison for external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Define and track hub performance metrics, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Lead financial performance reviews and drive accountability across hubs.
  • Provide oversight on financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance metrics.
  • Partner with corporate HQ, regional finance leaders, and captive hub leadership.
  • Guide local finance teams in achieving strategic objectives and financial targets.
  • Act as a key advisor on finance transformation, automation, and governance initiatives.

 

The experience we're looking for

  • Solid track record in leading finance functions and managing large-scale transformations.
  • Expertise in applying GAAP, IFRS, and European financial regulations.
  • Skilled in managing multi-country finance operations and captive hubs.
  • Strong in developing RACI frameworks, KPIs, and process governance.
  • Proficient in enforcing internal controls, tax compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Experienced in tracking hub performance, analyzing financial data, and ensuring accountability.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities, with an ability to mentor and develop teams
  • Strong understanding of how to foster relationships with senior management on a global scale.
  • Expertise in change management, project management, and driving operational improvements.
  • A collaborative approach, excellent engagement skills, and a proficiency in influencing outcomes.
