About the role
We are seeking an innovative and technically proficient Senior Manager / Lead for Intelligent Automation to spearhead automation initiatives within our HR Global Business Services organization. This role focuses on identifying, designing, and implementing automation solutions that drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and enhanced employee experience across HR processes globally.
Your responsibilities
1. Automation Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop and execute a global intelligent automation strategy aligned with HR business goals.
- Identify automation opportunities within HR Shared Services processes leveraging RPA, AI, ML, and other emerging technologies.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and scalability.
2. Solution Design & Implementation
- Lead end-to-end delivery of automation projects including requirement gathering, process analysis, solution design, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate closely with HR Operations, IT, and Digital teams to integrate automation into existing systems and workflows.
- Ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards.
3. Continuous Improvement & Scaling
- Monitor performance and benefits realization of automation initiatives.
- Drive continuous optimization of automated processes and expand automation footprint across HR Shared Services globally.
- Foster a culture of innovation and digital mindset within the HR GBS team.
4. Stakeholder Management & Training
- Engage with global HR leaders, process owners, and technology partners to align on automation priorities and benefits.
- Provide training and enablement to HR teams to support adoption and effective use of automation tools.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on intelligent automation trends and best practices.
5. Reporting & Governance
- Define KPIs and metrics to measure automation impact and ROI.
- Maintain transparent reporting and communicate progress to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data privacy, and risk management frameworks.
The experience we're looking for
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in process automation, robotics process automation (RPA), or intelligent automation roles, preferably within HR or Shared Services.
- Proven experience leading automation projects using tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and global Shared Services operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, cognitive automation, and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with agile project management and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work across global, cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
