About the role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Global Head of Operational Excellence (Sr. Manager level) to lead enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives with a strong focus on HR operations. This role will drive transformation through Lean Six Sigma methodologies, data mining, and workflow optimization, while partnering closely with IT&D, automation and Global Analytics teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and people-centric solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and scale global operational excellence initiatives across HR and related business functions.
- Design and implement Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement strategies to optimize HR processes such as talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, performance management, and employee lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate RPA, AI, and workflow orchestration tools into HR operations.
- Conduct data mining, root cause analysis, and predictive analytics to uncover inefficiencies and drive data-informed decisions.
- Develop and maintain a global framework for process governance, standardization, and performance measurement.
- Lead process discovery workshops, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions to drive innovation and engagement.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational dashboards to track performance and ROI.
- Partner with HRIS and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of process improvements with existing systems.
- Build and mentor a global team of operational excellence professionals and change agents.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational agility across the organization.
The experience we're looking for
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, HR, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required.
- 10+ years of experience in operational excellence, with at least 3 years in a global HR or shared services environment.
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end process improvement, workflow redesign, and automation projects.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining, process mapping, and workflow design.
- Excellent English communication, stakeholder management, and change skills.
- Track record of leading a global team.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working in a matrixed, multicultural, and global environment.
- Deep understanding of HR systems and tools, including but not limited to:
- SAP SuccessFactors
- ServiceNow HRSD
- Power BI / Tableau / Alteryx (for analytics)
- UiPath / Blue Prism / Automation Anywhere (for RPA) - Plus
- Strong project management skills with experience using Agile, Scrum, or Lean project delivery.
- Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and delivering measurable business impact.
