About the role:
As the Head of Logistics Excellence, you will be responsible for defining and developing global standards and processes for logistics operations and implementing the global logistics strategy. You will partner with regions and the Network Planning Lead to design and implement an optimized warehousing and transportation network for Essential Home globally. Additionally, you will collaborate with regions and manufacturing plants to identify and drive productivity initiatives within the warehousing and transportation space globally. This role will support the logistics agenda as part of the global transformation Essential Home is about to embark on, including the upcoming ERP transformations. You will also scope the feasibility of shared service centers globally for logistics operations and project manage their implementation. Furthermore, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the digital logistics strategy to support operational excellence and productivity.

Your responsibilities:
- Define and develop global standards and processes for logistics operations.
- Implement the global logistics strategy.
- Partner with regions and the Network Planning Lead to design and implement an optimized warehousing and transportation network globally.
- Collaborate with regions and manufacturing plants to identify and drive productivity initiatives within the warehousing and transportation space.
- Support the logistics agenda as part of the global transformation, including ERP transformations.
- Scope the feasibility of shared service centers globally for logistics operations and manage their implementation.
- Define and implement the digital logistics strategy to support operational excellence and productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Develop and deploy strategies to enhance logistics performance and efficiency.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery while optimizing logistics operations.
- Hold accountability for core KPIs: Logistics Cost Optimization; Warehousing and Transportation Efficiency; Implementation Success of Shared Service Centers; Digital Logistics Strategy Implementation; Customer Satisfaction Rate; Talent Retention and Development.
The experience we are looking for:
- Advanced Logistics Operations Excellence
- Advanced Supply Chain Planning and Optimization
- Intermediate Leadership Skills with the ability to motivate and inspire large teams
- Advanced Analytical skills and ability to source and interpret data from multiple sources
- Intermediate Financial and Commercial Acumen
- Intermediate ability to work with ambiguity and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role with experience in leading global processes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a line management role.
- Experience with ERP transformations and shared service center implementations is a plus.
