About the role
We are seeking a Senior Solution Analyst / Solution Architect to support the delivery and adoption of Reckitt's architecture ways of working and architecture community of practice.
This role sits within the Enterprise Architecture team and reports to the IT&D Senior Manager, Enterprise Architecture (Governance & Solution Architecture).
The successful candidate will work across a broad technology landscape, partnering with Enterprise Architects, Capability Teams and IMEX teams to ensure technology solutions align with business requirements, architecture standards and strategic objectives.
The role is responsible for creating and maintaining solution designs and associated architecture artefacts, supporting the effective delivery of technology initiatives across IT&D. As part of the Solution Architecture team, the individual will contribute to projects and demands across multiple capability areas, helping teams select and design appropriate technology solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Create solution designs that meet business requirements and integrate effectively into Reckitt's technology landscape.
- Define and document how functional and non-functional requirements will be addressed.
- Promote the use of approved platforms, integration patterns, data standards and architecture best practices.
- Work with Infrastructure Architects to ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with hosting and integration requirements.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of solution designs and associated deliverables.
- Provide architecture support throughout project delivery and implementation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and solution design artefacts.
- Provide technical advisory support to capability and IMEX teams, helping them align with architecture standards, patterns and reference architectures.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of architecture reference materials, including standards, patterns and decision trees.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with architecture principles and strategic technology direction.
- Work closely with Enterprise Architects and platform teams to ensure approved architecture patterns and roadmaps are reflected in solution designs.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to ensure security requirements are incorporated into solution designs.
- Apply pragmatic and agile approaches to solving business and technology challenges.
The experience we're looking for
- Experience working as a Solution Architect or senior solution/design analyst within a technology or business domain.
- Knowledge of technologies and architectures supporting digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and constraints.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible way.
- Experience creating solution designs, architecture artefacts and technical documentation.
- Good understanding of core IT technologies or relevant functional domains.
- Experience contributing to the development and adoption of architecture standards, patterns or reference architectures.
- Experience working with modern technologies, tools and delivery approaches within enterprise environments.
- Commercial awareness.
- Comfortable working in a changing and sometimes ambiguous environment.
Nice to have
- Exposure to architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale transformation programmes.
- Experience working with cloud, data, integration or security-related technologies.
