About the role

As IT&D Manager, Vendor & Commercial, you will partner closely with IT&D Global Capability teams to manage the wider IT vendor ecosystem, ensuring consistent commercial governance, performance management, and value delivery across all non Tier 1 suppliers.
Reporting into the IT&D Senior Manager, Vendor & Commercial, you will be responsible for embedding vendor management standards into day to day operations, supporting capability teams, and ensuring contracts and service arrangements are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle.

Your responsibilities

  • Partner with IT&D Global Capability teams to manage the non Tier 1 IT vendor landscape
  • Lead negotiation of contracts, commercials, and service terms for assigned vendors
  • Draft, maintain, and manage SLAs to ensure service expectations are clearly defined and met
  • Track and manage contract renewals, extensions, and changes
  • Support procurement and vendor selection activities in line with IT&D standards
  • Monitor vendor performance, cost, and delivery against contractual commitments
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, financial controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Escalate risks, issues, and opportunities to the Senior Manager as required

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience in IT vendor management, commercial management, procurement, or related roles
  • Solid understanding of IT contracts, SLAs, and vendor service models
  • Experience managing multiple vendors across different technologies or service types
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working closely with IT delivery teams
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to analyse cost, value, and performance
  • Comfortable operating within established governance frameworks
