About the role

Reckitt is seeking an experienced IT&D Data Architect, product/platform manager specializing in large-scale implementations of enterprise analytics solutions and architecture to join the Global SAP Data & Analytics team. The position will play a key role in the global transformation initiative, supporting the roll out, enhancement of the SAP Data & analytics platform together with the SAP ERP. The focus will be on requirements gathering, functional/ technical design, testing, implementation, and governance of the global SAP data & analytics template.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for product/ platform management, deployment, and enhancement of the data & analytics solution for global business function(s) as part of the global SAP transformation programme deploying global single instance ERP/ analytics template that empowers Reckitt users and provide actionable information for business decisions in collaboration with selected vendors.
  • Define and communicate the for the assigned functional area the SAP data and analytics platform/ product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with the global business process owner.
  • For individual projects/ analytics and data demands (i.e. continuous improvement change request) ensure the functional/ technical design, testing and delivery is in place with frequent reviews to ensure it fits within the global solution architecture/ model.
  • Govern and support the deployment of data & analytics solutions by:

a) Participating in workshops to define user requirements, execute fit/ gap analysis working alongside business, Business Process Owners (BPO), and as applicable vendor resources to steer requirements.

b) Design SAP operational analytics products, federation of core ERP data to downstream systems (e.g. SAC planning and forecasting, azure data lake) aligned to the business requirements, the global SAP analytics template design standards, long term maintainable and fit for purpose.

c) Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to decommissioning, including planning, development, testing, deployment, user training and retirement.

d) Monitor and analyse product performance, making data-driven decisions to improve and optimize solutions.

e) Oversee the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized, prioritized, and aligned with the overall product strategy.

f) Manage business stakeholders, super users, deployment teams and support the implementation.

  • Work within internal competency teams (SAP ERP, Data & Analytics, data product managers, FP&A, etc) and the partner ecosystem to support delivery of Reckitt enterprise reporting systems as well as governing the SAP data & analytics solutions within the assigned area of responsibility (i.e. customer service, logistics, sales).
  • Work with BPOs, ERP solution architects, technical Data & Analytics solution architect during design & testing phases to ensure that the right challenges and alignment are in place for a smooth delivery on time and on budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SAP data and analytics, and incorporate relevant innovations into the product roadmap.

 

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s/ master’s degree within the field of Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business studies (e.g. Accounting, Business Administration).
  • Good working knowledge of the interdependencies between different business functions such as Sales, Customer Service, logistics, production execution, quality management and finance.
  • Detailed exposure to leading analytics tools (e.g. SAC, PBI) with a strong record of end-to-end delivery of large-scale enterprise analytics solutions SAP Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud, BW on HANA/ Datasphere and HANA.
  • Demonstrate the right balance between functional understanding and technical (system integration) excellence, ability to work within large-scale global engagements.
  • Required to have firsthand experience within SAP SAC, BO, BW on HANA as well as working knowledge of HANA and relevant modules of ECC. Any firsthand experience on Datasphere is a good differentiator for the candidate.
  • Excellent English communication (oral & written) and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Excellent communication, client relationship and people management skills. Possess a consultative orientation and ability to deliver a broad range of innovative and value–added services, balance multiple projects and other responsibilities.
  • Candidate's differentiators:
    a) Experience delivering SAP analytics projects with SAP ECC as source
    b) Experience in professional services firm (system integrator).
    c) Exposure to agile, waterfall and hybrid project management method
