About the role

The IT&D Portfolio Manager, Data & Analytics focuses on working in a multi-disciplinary environment harnessing the output developed by the D&A team to provide real impact for the business organization at a global and regional level. This requires working in a cross-functional way within the D&A organization and with the broader IT&D, as well as with the business team to positively enhance the performance and adoption of the Data and Analytics Products resulting into positive impact for the business. Furthermore, the Portfolio Manager is responsible for the governance of D&A products in addition to their timely delivery and, as such, will be working closely with product managers in IT&D and a variety of D&A specialists (e.g., data engineers, data scientists, solution architect, engineers) to problem solve, remove any roadblocks, and stay inside budget commitments. Lastly the Portfolio Manager will be responsible for the continuous performance management tracking of D&A product delivery and success as well as overseeing the implementation of the D&A Operating Model. 

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical personnel within allocated area Product Teams and Scrum Masters.
  • Act as a point of contact in managing stakeholders within D&A as well as outside.
  • Facilitate Platform Councils for designated area. 
  • Work closely with Product Stream representatives on: designing the product roadmaps; ensuring that the messaging, demands, priorities, budget, capacity, and delivery are aligned and generating the intended value and outcome. 
  • Own the financial budget to run the Products within designated area. 
  • Drive activities to ensure adoption of the deployed D&A Data Products and D&A Data Platforms. 
  • Ensure that D&A Products and Platforms are regularly delivered according in line with Operating Model.   
  • Cooperate with external partners to ensure that feedback is continuously provided to help keep the service levels predictable. 
  • Management and oversight of the selected operational process within D&A.

The experience we're looking for

  • 8+ years’ experience, with 3+ years in delivery management roles (data specific delivery preferred).  
  • Ability to lead, operate and coach on a range of Agile and Waterfall tools.
  • Deep understanding of D&A-driven projects and of the high-level architecture elements, best practices & operating model. 
  • Strong ability to create an open and collaborative working environment. 
  • Stakeholder management skills with senior IT&D and Business stakeholders. 
  • Eeffective budget management within the constraints of an initiative.
  • Ability to maintain a Product or Process through the delivery phases, into live and then into retirement.   
  • Risk mitigation capabilities. 
  • Ability to plan, forecast, estimate, manage uncertainty, metrics and measurements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
