About the role

At Reckitt, we’re looking for an IT & D Enterprise Security Architect who will bring a strategic approach to our data architecture across the enterprise. This position is for thinkers, innovators, and protectors. Your expertise will drive the seamless integration of technology, reducing risks and costs while boosting efficiency and collaboration. Your responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud and on-premise security architectures aligned with business, technology, and threat drivers.
  • Develop and maintain security strategy, roadmaps, standards, policies, and reusable security architecture artifacts.
  • Define security requirements for infrastructure, applications, data flows, and CI/CD pipelines; embed security into DevOps processes.
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and services based on technical and business needs.
  • Ensure security compliance and governance through automated validation and centralized logging/monitoring practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews of systems, cloud platforms, and third-party vendors.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (DevOps, Privacy, Audit, SOC) to ensure security controls are implemented and effective.
  • Participate in vendor due diligence, including reviewing SOC reports and ensuring contractual security requirements.
  • Support the implementation and validation of IAM, encryption, data classification, segmentation, and secure coding practices.
  • Collaborate with security peers to share insights and continuously improve enterprise security posture.

The experience we're looking for

  • Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • CISSP required; ISSAP and cloud security certs (Azure/AWS/GCP) are a plus
  • 3+ years in security architecture roles
  • Experience with multi-layered security and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Skilled in creating security standards, policies, and patterns
  • Familiar with SABSA, TOGAF, or similar frameworks
  • Hands-on with security tools (firewalls, SIEM, WAF, endpoint protection)
  • Knowledge of secure coding, CI/CD, SAST/DAST tools
  • Strong in threat modeling, IAM, and IT infrastructure
  • Understanding of GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and other key standards
