About the role

As a member of the Cyber Security Operations Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of Reckitt security controls and services to protect our colleagues, products, IT infrastructure, networks and cloud environments. In this leadership role, you will manage and mentor a skilled team of security engineers, collaborate with security, network, cloud and other operational teams, and lead initiatives aimed at proactively identifying and mitigating security risks at scale.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and grow a high performing security engineering team.
  • Define and execute the long term security platform roadmap in line with business and technical objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security tools (e.g. SIEM, SOAR, EDR, email security).
  • Responsible for the delivery of SecOps services in accordance with Reckitt standards and policies.
  • Work closely with other SecOps, Cloud, Network and IT&D teams to ensure our solutions are protected and automated to the best of our ability.
  • Continuously tune, develop and improve the existing cyber technology stack Support the wider cyber security team in maintaining an acceptable level of risk in relation to cyber security technical controls.
  • Provide automation capabilities to the SecOps function

The experience we're looking for

  • Proven leadership in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Deep technical expertise in security monitoring, cloud security (Azure, GCP) and network security.
  • More than 3 years managing technical teams with a strong focus on aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Hands-on operational experience within large and complex organizations.
  • Skilled in collaborating with multiple vendors, including offshore and nearshore partners, to enhance service delivery.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in dynamic environments.
  • A proactive, self-driven professional who thrives in diverse team settings and works effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Holds relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, AWS Security, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
