About the role

The IT & Digital Business Manager is responsible for the operational, financial, and organizational management of the Domain/Area IT&D function. 
This role acts as the right hand person to the Domain/Area CIO, ensuring financial control, workforce planning, vendor governance, performance tracking, and executive reporting are managed with rigor and transparency. 
The Business Manager ensures the IT&D function itself runs efficiently, sustainably, and professionally as a business unit.

Your responsibilities

  • Financial Management & Budget Control
    • Own IT&D financial and value tracking (Run & Continuous improvement/change spend + value extraction).
    • Manage OpEx / CapEx monitoring and forecasting.
    • Support annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasts.
    • Track cost allocation and recharge mechanisms to business units where appropriate.
    • Drive cost optimization initiatives and efficiency programs.
  • Workforce & Capacity Management
    • Oversee IT&D headcount planning (internal + external).
    • Manage contractor and managed service workforce oversight.
    • Coordinate workforce strategy with HR and global IT leadership.
    • Monitor capacity vs. demand in collaboration with SPP lead.
  • Vendor & Contract Governance
    • Ensure compliance with global vendor agreements.
    • Track vendor performance and SLA adherence working alongside Partner / Vendor Management function.
    • Support contract renewals and procurement processes, in particular for Tier 2 and Tier 3 contracts.
    • Drive vendor consolidation and performance optimization in line with overall technology and procurement strategy.
  • Operational Governance & Controls
    • Maintain governance calendar (LT meetings, reviews, audits).
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit, and cybersecurity standards in collaboration with RMCC lead.
    • Monitor policy adherence across markets.
    • Support risk management reporting.
  • Executive Reporting & Performance Transparency
    • Support preparation of executive dashboards and board-level materials alongside SPP.
    • Support the consolidation of KPIs across Product and Portfolio domains alongside SPP.
    • Ensure consistent reporting across markets.
    • Provide narrative insights, not just metrics.
  • Communication & Leadership Support
    • Act as advisor and right hand to the VP IT&D.
    • Coordinate leadership offsites and strategy workshops.
    • Manage internal communication across IT&D teams.
    • Ensure alignment between global and regional leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement & Special Projects
    • Manages special projects requiring coordination across the domain/geography or sitting outside of specific capability areas.
    • Improve financial and operational processes.
    • Introduce automation and reporting efficiency improvements.
    • Strengthen governance maturity across markets.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field
  • MBA or Finance qualification is a plus
  • Experience in IT, Finance, PMO, or business management roles
  • Experience in CPG / FMCG highly preferred
  • Strong financial planning & operational management exposure
  • Experience working in matrix, multi-market organizations
  • Financial planning & budgeting tools
  • Advanced Excel / reporting tools
  • Understanding of IT cost structures (infra, apps, licenses, vendors)
  • Knowledge of governance frameworks
  • Strong executive communication skills
