About the role

As a Junior Demand Analyst, you will play a key role in creating, maintaining, and improving statistical demand forecasts within the Rapid Response planning tool. You will support the business by ensuring the right forecasting models are applied, enabling accurate and data-driven planning decisions across the European market. Working closely with Demand Planning teams, you will help translate market trends, sales insights, and commercial strategies into reliable forecasting outputs that support supply chain efficiency and product availability. As our forecasting capabilities continue to evolve, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the adoption of advanced analytics and Machine Learning forecasting solutions currently in pilot development.

Your responsibilities

•    Prepare statistical forecasts across the assigned portfolio.
•    Apply and monitor statistical forecasting models to generate baseline demand forecasts.
•    Use cutting-edge supply chain planning technology to support on-time product delivery.
•    Work closely with Demand Planners across Europe to reflect market trends and commercial strategy in forecasting outputs.
•    Use analytical, marketing, and sales data for products, customers, and brands to estimate future product demand for both tactical (1-6 months) and strategic (7-24 rolling months) forecasting horizons.
•    Conduct monthly forecast maintenance and model review activities.
•    Analyze forecast performance, identify forecast bias and accuracy improvement opportunities, and recommend model enhancements.
•    Propose and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy, including leading/participation in Forecast Accuracy Review (FAR) meetings with markets.
•    Support pilot initiatives exploring Machine Learning and advanced forecasting methodologies to improve forecast accuracy, forecasting efficiency, and automation.
•    Support continuous improvement initiatives within demand forecasting processes.
•    Perform other tasks assigned by the direct manager.

The experience we're looking for

•    University degree or final-year student status, preferably in Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or a related field.
•    Experience in Demand Planning, forecasting, data analysis, or supply chain analytics would be an advantage.
•    Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an understanding of statistical forecasting concepts, including trend, seasonality, forecast accuracy, and forecast bias.
•    Experience with statistical forecasting tools and data analytics software; knowledge of Python for data analysis, forecasting, or automation is preferred.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Rapid Response, SAP IBP, Power BI, SQL, or similar planning and analytics tools is an advantage.
•    Ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into actionable forecasting recommendations.
•    Interest or exposure to Machine Learning, advanced analytics, and statistical forecasting techniques is advantageous as the organization continues its forecasting transformation journey.
•    Very good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
•    Self-driven, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•    Strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail.
