About the role

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring an appropriate level of service for customers. This role collaborates with logistics operators, transport companies, and other departments to monitor inventory, resolve operational issues, and implement improvements. The Logistics Specialist is also responsible for reporting operations, conducting audits, and overseeing disposal and inventory processes.

Your responsibilities

  • Monitoring warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring an appropriate level of service for customers.
  • Preparing and verifying customs, sanitary, and veterinary documents, ensuring compliance with regulations in coordination with the responsible planning and regulatory departments.
  • Coordinating inventory levels with logistics operators and resolving discrepancies.
  • Supervising timely and quality-compliant distribution to customers.
  • Collaborating with transport companies (conducting regular meetings, discussing results and arising issues).
  • Reporting operations and agreed KPIs.Proposing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Preventing operational problems, collaborating with other departments to implement appropriate solutions.
  • Supervising the disposal process of finished products.
  • Overseeing the inventory process.
  • Participating in additional projects within the supply chain area.
  • Reporting operations conducted on OTC to ZSMOPL.
  • Conducting regular internal transport and inventory audits.
  • Reporting waste introduced to the market.
  • Controlling the flow of Chep and Euro pallets. 

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience working in an international environment, preferably in a similar position.
  • Higher education, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Communicative English skills (minimum B2 level).
  • Ability to work in a team, good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel at least at an intermediate level.
  • Ability to implement changes.
  • Category B driving license.
  • Knowledge of SAP program. 
  • Experience in pharmaceutical logistics will be considered an additional advantage.
