Role Purpose:
As the IT&D Manager, Technology and Infrastructure, you will lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and management of our technology infrastructure. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, driving innovation and scalability to support Essential Home’s business strategy.

Your responsibilities
- Define the long-term strategic needs for Hosting and Infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability for future growth to meet Essential Home’s business objectives.
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of Hosting solutions, particularly Azure.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of infrastructure solutions.
- Lead network management efforts, including VPN, SDWAN, access points, and connectivity for manufacturing sites.
- Build excellent relationships with strategic partners and service providers to ensure co-investment, high quality service, while staying cost-effective.
- Lead a high-performing team of external talent, fostering a culture of agility, ownership and collaboration.
- Oversee budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation for Technology and Infrastructure initiatives.
The experience we're looking for
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
- You are collaborative and build bridges internally and externally.
- You have proven experience in the Technology and Infrastructure space, preferably in the Consumer Goods sector.
- You have a deep understanding of some or all of the Technology and Infrastructure technologies: Azure, server storage, backup solutions, disaster recovery, IP address management, patch management, and provisioning.
- You have strong knowledge of network management, including VPN, SDWAN, access points, and connectivity for manufacturing sites.
- You are familiar with ITIL service management practices and how they apply to Technology and Infrastructure delivery.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
