About the role

 

This role leads the way in delivering excellence across Reckitt’s global financial close and consolidation processes. With a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, it ensures the integrity of our reporting and supports a robust control environment. It’s a role that champions data quality, drives automation, and promotes consistency across tools and workflows. Collaboration is essential—working closely with internal and external partners to enhance reporting outcomes and streamline the close cycle. This is a brilliant opportunity to shape how Reckitt delivers financial transparency and insight, while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across our global operations. 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Ensure consolidation data aligns with accounting policies and group reporting standards 
  • Deliver accurate subconsolidations, eliminations and group submissions within close timelines 
  • Manage the global close calendar, flux reviews and audit-ready documentation 
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely responses and resolution 
  • Drive improvements in data quality and operational efficiency using enterprise systems 
  • Enhance automation and standardisation of trackers, templates and reporting packs 
  • Strengthen governance and controls to support compliance and audit readiness 

 

The experience we're looking for

 

  • A broad range of experience in financial close and consolidation within Record to Report or controllership functions 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end close activities including calendar management, journal governance, eliminations and flux reviews 
  • Strong understanding of accounting policies and group reporting standards 
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning and consolidation systems, with a focus on automation and standardisation 
  • Proven track record in maintaining a control-focused, audit-ready environment 
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement across finance, tax, intercompany and delivery teams 
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and effective time management
