About the role

As the OTC Trade Senior Analyst, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of trade promotion claims—validating submissions against approved contracts and price conditions, reconciling and truing-up promotion accruals, and ensuring timely, compliant settlement. Partnering with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance, you will safeguard working capital by reducing leakage from invalid or noncompliant claims, strengthening audit trails, and standardizing ways of working across markets. You will leverage SAP, Vistex and/or HighRadius trade modules to prioritize worklists, enable rule-based matching, and improve automation while maintaining accurate, audit ready records.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage complex trade promotion and rebate claims, ensuring accurate validation against contracts, pricing terms, and promotional agreements
  • Oversee the end-to-end trade spend process, including claim adjudication, settlement, and reconciliation activities
  • Lead investigation and resolution of discrepancies, aged claims, and exceptions, engaging cross-functional teams where required
  • Review and validate promotional data (e.g., EPOS, pricing, promotional plans) to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage trade spend accruals, including creation, reconciliation, and month-end true-ups in line with accounting policies
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior analysts, supporting knowledge sharing and capability development within the team
  • Strengthen controls, ensuring compliance with policies, audit requirements, and Delegation of Authority (DoA) frameworks
  • Monitor and analyse KPIs (e.g., claim cycle time, accrual accuracy, leakage, recovery rates), providing insights and recommendations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, rule-based matching, and standardisation of processes and data governance
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to improve upstream processes and reduce recurring issues and revenue leakage

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience in trade spend, rebates, deductions, or OTC processes within a shared services or global organisation
  • Strong understanding of trade promotion management, including claim validation, settlements, and accrual accounting
  • Advanced experience with ERP and trade tools (e.g., SAP, Vistex, HighRadius)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Experience in month-end close activities related to trade spend, including accrual management and reconciliations
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cross-functional teams
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with experience in process optimisation and automation initiatives
  • Proficiency in English and German or Turkish is required
