About the role

As a Payroll and Benefits Senior Analyst (Germany) with Reckitt, you’ll have the freedom to let your know-how shine. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting cross-functional collaboration between HR, Finance, and other departments. This role is critical to maintaining employee satisfaction and operational efficiency. Given our current strategic focus on Germany, we particularly welcome specialists with expertise from this market.

Your responsibilities

  • Foster close collaboration with local in-country teams to ensure payroll is executed with precision and timeliness across your designated market.
  • Conduct thorough variance analysis and implement robust payroll controls to support accurate payslip generation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll-related matters, resolving employee queries and escalating complex cases for appropriate advisement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and external regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and validation of payroll reports for assigned markets, ensuring data integrity and timely delivery.
  • Manage and submit all statutory documentation related to tax deductions, employee benefits, and legal garnishments.
  • Administer Company Benefits and benefit-related payroll components, including insurance premiums, sick leave compensation, and other entitlements.
  • Maintain and monitor payment calendars aligned with the fiscal year to ensure timely disbursements.
  • Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including third-party payroll providers and government authorities.
  • Contribute meaningfully to payroll transformation initiatives, such as process automation, system integration, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Managing and actively contributing to internal and external audit processes.

The experience we're looking for

  • You are fluent in German and English. Dutch or French would be a big advantage.
  • You have at least bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an independent payroll role.
  • You are feeling comfortable with using HR software (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) and Microsoft Excel.
  • You possess experience in collaborating with payroll vendors (such as ADP or Strada) and have a proven track record of managing payroll operations across multiple international markets.
  • You have strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor compliance.
  • You have a strong customer service orientation.
  • You have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • You are a team player – empathetic, supportive, and collaborative.
  • You’re able to successfully juggle multiple priorities.
