At Reckitt, we believe our people are at the heart of our success. As a Payroll & Benefits Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of accurate, compliant, and employee-centric payroll services while supporting a complex and dynamic international environment.
This role goes beyond transactional payroll processing. You will serve as a trusted payroll expert, driving operational excellence, risk mitigation, compliance, and continuous improvement across your designated markets. You will work closely with HR, Finance, Tax, external payroll providers, and business stakeholders to ensure payroll operations are executed to the highest standard.
Given our current strategic priorities, we are particularly interested in professionals with strong Dutch payroll expertise, including experience navigating complex tax, social security, and equity-related payroll matters.
Your responsibilities
Payroll Operations & Compliance
• Manage end-to-end payroll for assigned market(s), ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing.
• Partner with HR, Finance, payroll vendors, and local stakeholders to deliver high-quality payroll services.
• Perform payroll validations, variance analysis, and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, tax, social security, and internal governance requirements.
• Review and approve payroll outputs, reports, reconciliations, and related documentation.
Subject Matter Expertise
• Act as a trusted advisor on payroll, taxation, social security, and benefits matters.
• Provide guidance on complex payroll topics, including 30% ruling, cross-entity payroll, tax corrections, social security, equity compensation, and international assignments.
• Support the resolution of complex employee and stakeholder queries.
Statutory & Benefits Administration
• Administer payroll taxes, statutory deductions, social security contributions, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage payroll-related benefits, including pensions, insurance, and sick pay.
• Coordinate statutory filings, maintain audit-ready documentation, and ensure timely employee and third-party payments.
Stakeholder Management
• Build strong relationships with payroll providers, authorities, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with HR, Reward, Tax, Finance, and Legal teams on payroll-related matters.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
• Contribute to payroll transformation initiatives, system implementations, and process improvements.
• Drive efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance the employee experience.
The experience we're looking for
• Dutch payroll qualification (PDL, VPS, and/or NIRPA preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Dutch payroll, wage tax, social security, payroll compliance, 30% ruling, tax corrections, and cross-entity payroll.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, HR, or a related field.
• End-to-end payroll experience, ideally in a multinational environment.
• Experience working with payroll providers such as ADP, Strada, or similar.
• Proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent English; Dutch language skills are a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
