About the role
As the Manager – GBS RTR Close and Consolidations, you will be responsible for driving excellence in the month, quarter, and yearend close across the RecordtoReport (RTR) process. You will oversee the global close calendar, journal and cutoff governance, intercompany eliminations, subconsolidations, and group reporting submissions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to accounting policies and reporting standards. You will maintain an auditready control environment, own flux and disclosure reviews, and ensure complete substantiation of consolidated results.
You will also lead initiatives to enhance data quality and operational efficiency, leveraging ERP and consolidation tools to standardize workflows, automate recurring activities, and reduce manual touchpoints. You will monitor KPIs, manage escalations, and coordinate internal/external reviews—strengthening compliance while improving close cycle time and the quality of financial reporting.
Your responsibilities
- Drive excellence in periodend close and consolidation across the RTR process
- Oversee the integrity of consolidation data and ensure adherence to accounting policies and group reporting standards
- Deliver accurate and timely subconsolidations, eliminations, and group reporting submissions aligned to close timelines
- Manage the close calendar, flux analysis, and auditready documentation for consolidated results
- Coordinate internal/external audits and reviews, ensuring timely responses and remediation
- Lead initiatives to enhance data quality and operational efficiency using ERP and consolidation tools
- Improve automation and standardization of close trackers, reconciliation templates, and reporting packs
- Strengthen governance and internal controls to mitigate compliance risks and support audit readiness
The experience we're looking for
- Experience in financial close and consolidation within RTR/controllership; shared services or global processdriven environments preferred
- Proven ability to manage endtoend close activities: close calendar orchestration, journal/cutoff governance, eliminations, subconsolidations, and flux analysis
- Strong knowledge of accounting policies and group reporting requirements; familiarity with IFRS/US GAAP concepts as applicable
- Proficiency with ERP and consolidation tools (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Group Reporting/BPC, HFM, OneStream or similar) and experience driving automation and standardization
- Controls and auditreadiness mindset (SOX/ICF), with disciplined documentation and issue remediation leadership
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to engage Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Intercompany, and delivery partners across regions
- Analytical, KPIdriven problemsolver with a continuousimprovement mindset and strong time management across recurring close cycles
