About the role

As the Manager – Global Business Services RTR Intercompany, you will drive excellence in intercompany accounting across the Record‑to‑Report (RTR) process. You will oversee end‑to‑end intercompany activities—including intercompany route management, billing and recharges, confirmations, settlements/netting, and reconciliations—to ensure accurate, timely, and policy‑compliant close and eliminations. You will enforce global standards for FX rates, mark‑ups, and documentation, and maintain audit‑ready evidence across entities.

You will lead initiatives to standardize workflows and automate matching and dispute resolution using enterprise tools (e.g., SAP S/4HANA intercompany capabilities, BlackLine Intercompany/ICMR), reduce aging and unmatched items, and improve cycle times. You will monitor KPIs, manage escalations, and coordinate readiness for audits and statutory reviews, leveraging the hub‑and‑spoke Global Business Services model and BPO where appropriate to deliver consistent global outcomes.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure integrity of intercompany balances in line with global policies and compliance standards.
  • Deliver timely and accurate settlements, confirmations, and eliminations aligned with close deadlines.
  • Manage dispute resolution, netting, and audit-ready documentation for intercompany transactions.
  • Support external audits and internal reviews with timely, compliant responses.
  • Lead data quality and efficiency improvements through ERP tools and automation.
  • Standardize matching, reconciliation templates, and dispute workflows across regions.
  • Strengthen governance and internal controls to mitigate compliance risks and ensure audit readiness.

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience in intercompany accounting, RTR/controllership, or shared services in global, process-driven environments.
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end intercompany flows: billing, confirmations, reconciliations, eliminations, and settlements/netting.
  • Strong knowledge of transfer pricing, FX policy application, legal-entity structures, and cross-border considerations.
  • Proficient in ERP and reconciliation tools (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, BlackLine Intercompany/ICMR); experienced in automation and standardization.
  • Solid controls mindset (SOX/ICF), with strong documentation and issue remediation capabilities.
  • Effective communicator with stakeholders across Controllers, Tax, Treasury, and service delivery teams.
  • Analytical and improvement-focused, skilled in KPI analysis and root-cause resolution; Lean/Six Sigma exposure is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet close deadlines and handle competing priorities.
