About the role

As the Manager – GBS RTR Local Tax & Statutory Reporting, you will be responsible for driving excellence in statutory financial reporting and local tax compliance across the Record-to-Report process. You will oversee the preparation and filing of statutory accounts, ensure adherence to local GAAP and regulatory requirements, and maintain audit-ready documentation to safeguard compliance. This includes managing Group-to-Local GAAP reconciliations, coordinating external audits, and ensuring timely submission of direct and indirect tax returns. 

You will also lead initiatives that enhance data quality and operational efficiency, leveraging digital tools and analytics to streamline reconciliations, automate reporting, and strengthen internal controls. By embedding governance and standardisation across regions, you will reduce exceptions, mitigate compliance risks, and enable accurate, timely statutory reporting. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding Reckitt’s control environment while supporting transparency and regulatory compliance - advancing our OneReckitt GBS ambition. 

Your responsibilities

  • Drive excellence in statutory financial reporting and local tax compliance across the Record-to-Report (RTR) process, working with the relevant GPOs where improvement opportunities to the standard global process are identified. 
  • Manage and develop the wider GBS RTR Local Tax & Statutory Reporting team   
  • Operate within the RTR and Tax GPO frameworks, ensuring process adherence, compliance with global standards, and timely escalation of deviations. 
  • Oversee the integrity of statutory accounts and ensure adherence to local GAAP and regulatory requirements 
  • Deliver accurate and timely filings for statutory financial statements and direct/indirect tax returns 
  • Manage Group-to-Local GAAP reconciliations, disclosure notes, and audit-ready documentation 
  • Working with the RTR or Tax GPOs to lead initiatives to enhance data quality and operational efficiency using digital tools and analytics, and drive adoption of tools and standard processes improving automation and standardisation of reconciliations, reporting templates and compliance processes 
  • Coordinate external audits and statutory reviews, ensuring timely responses and signatory readiness 
  • Proactively identify statutory and tax compliance risks and implement remediation plans aligned with GBS control frameworks 
  • Strengthen governance and internal controls to mitigate compliance risks and support audit readiness 

The experience we're looking for

  • 5–7 years of experience in statutory financial reporting, local tax compliance, or Record-to-Report (RTR) operations 
  • Experience working in a shared services environment or global process-driven organisation preferred 
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end statutory reporting processes, including GAAP reconciliations, disclosure preparation, and audit coordination 
  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance requirements (direct and indirect), internal controls, and audit readiness frameworks 
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and digital tools to drive automation, improve reconciliations, and enhance reporting efficiency 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to engage auditors, regulators, and internal finance teams 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset to enhance data quality and reduce compliance risks 
  • Team management experience to ensure the wider team is supported and continue to develop. 
  • Change management capability to ensure that new tools, processes or system migrations are successful 
  • Used to working within a global standardisation framework 
  • Strong organisation and time management skills to manage competing priorities 
  • Fluency in English (Spanish, Portuguese, or Czech would be an asset)
