About the role

As the Analyst – GBS RTR Local Tax & Statutory Reporting, you will support the accuratetimely, and compliant preparation of statutory financial statements and local tax filings for assigned legal entities. You will prepare workpapers and disclosure schedules, perform Group‑to‑Local GAAP reconciliations and true‑ups, and maintain audit‑ready documentation that ties out to the trial balance and group reporting. 

Your day‑to‑day will include assembling statutory and tax support packs, validating data mappings, performing reconciliations, tracking the statutory calendar, and assisting with external audit requests and regulator/tax authority queries. You will leverage ERP and reporting tools to reduce manual effort, improve data integrity, and strengthen controls—helping ensure filings are complete, compliant, and delivered on time. 

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support accurate and timely statutory financial reporting and local tax compliance across the Record-to-Report (RTR) process 
  • Prepare statutory workpapers, disclosure schedules, and ensure adherence to local GAAP and regulatory requirements 
  • Assist in delivering accurate filings for statutory financial statements and direct/indirect tax returns 
  • Perform Group-to-Local GAAP reconciliations, validate adjustments, and maintain audit-ready documentation 
  • Coordinate with the manager to compile external audit and statutory review support, ensuring timely responses 
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve data quality and operational efficiency using ERP tools and analytics 
  • Help standardize templates and processes to reduce manual effort and strengthen compliance controls 
  • Maintain attention to detail and governance to mitigate compliance risks and support audit readiness 

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience in statutory reporting, local tax support, RTR/controllership, or related finance operations 
  • Exposure to shared services or global, process‑driven environments preferred 
  • Working knowledge of statutory reporting fundamentals (GAAP adjustments, disclosures, trial balance tie‑outs) 
  • Understanding of direct/indirect tax basics and compliance workflows; familiarity with audit readiness and control evidence 
  • Proficiency with ERP and Excel (lookups, pivots); experience with reporting/reconciliation tools is a plus 
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail and documentation discipline 
  • Effective written communication for workpaper narratives and exception reporting; reliable time‑management across recurring deadlines
