About the role

The “Data Migration (DM) Specialist” is a techno-functional Subject Matter Expert (SME), whose role is primarily to support the local business teams in the deployment locations with regards to their data migration responsibilities.

This role is located in Warsaw and directed to candidates willing and eligible to travel globally up to 40% of time.

 

We are looking for 7 specialists, each working vertically in one of the following functional area:

 

  • WM (Warehouse Management)
  • SD/Planning (Sales & Distribution / Planning (Commercial & Manufacturing))
  • FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)
  • PR (Procurement)
  • PE (Production Execution)
  • PM (Plant Maintenance)
  • QM (Quality Management)

 

The vertical aspect of the role means that within the functional area, the DM Specialist is responsible end-to-end for all activities that are required in order to fully operate in the target ERP system (SAP ECC 6.0).

Your responsibilities

 

  • Target business unit data profiling (Pre-deployment)
  • Early data preparation (Pre-deployment)
  • Data source filtering criteria definition
  • Migration rules design / documentation and handover to the data platforms team
  • Data preparation techno-functional support & escalation (using the standard DM platform)
  • Testing & Training data sets definition support
  • Full end-to-end data defects management
  • Trial Load superuser support
  • LSMW programs change design requirement and handover to the data platforms team
  • Data loads execution using LSMW programs
  • Superuser validation and reconciliation support up to formal sign-off

The experience we're looking for

  • SAP project implementations in a global environment
  • SAP project delivery experience as Data Migration Lead in a global environment
  • SAP broad technical and functional expertise
  • Advanced project management skills in complex governed environments
  • Experience in managing multi-cultural teams of consultants
  • Experience on both commercial and manufacturing projects is a clear “Nice-to-have”

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (fluent English is compulsory)
  • Experience of managing stakeholders at all levels across the organisation
