About the role
The role involves being the main contact for Key Account Managers (KAMs) about trade budgets in Poland. Key tasks include approving and reviewing sales promotions, ensuring proper documentation, and regularly checking Trade Spend accruals to match sales contracts. The role also supports commercial teams in making business decisions related to Trade Investment, assists during audits, manages month-end close activities, handles internal reporting, and prepares financial reports for stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, at least 1 year of finance controlling experience (preferably in FMCG, Pharma, or Retail), fluency in Polish, good English skills, advanced Excel knowledge, strong analytical abilities, and a focus on business partnering.
Your responsibilities
- Acting as a point of contact for Key Account Managers regarding their trade budgets for Poland,
- Sales promotions approval, evaluation and review; challenging KAMs to attach evidence and verification of documentation,
- Regular Trade Spend accruals reviews; ensure trade conditions reflect sales contracts,
- Support and challenge commercial teams in analysis, recommendations and implementations of business decisions related to sales, with focus on Trade Investment
- Support during audit process,
- Managing month end close activities,
- Internal reporting in local dimension,
- Preparation of reports, presentations and analysis designed to communicate selected financial data to the stakeholders.
The experience we're looking for
- Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics,
- 1-2 years finance controlling experience, preferebly gained within FMCG / Pharma / Retail sector,
- Fluency in Polish is essential; good knowledge of English required,
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivots, vlookup, etc.)
- SAP knowledge nice to have
- Strong attention to details and analytical skills,
