About the role

As the IT&D Architect, Platforms & Integration, you will lead the design, implementation and management of robust, scalable, and innovative integration solutions across various technology platforms. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and shape the Platforms & Integration function from the ground up, driving innovation and scalability that enables Essential Home's business strategy.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can drive this function end-to-end, from vision and strategy to implementation and governance. You thrive in a dynamic environment; you are pragmatic, love a challenge and and are action and result oriented.

This position requires a deep understanding of modern platform architectures, integration technologies (e.g., Mulesoft), cloud technologies (in particular Azure), microservices, API management and DevOps practices.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and innovative integration solutions across various technology platforms, ensuring reliability and security.
• Drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute integration strategies.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of both internal and external talent, fostering a culture of agility, ownership and collaboration.
• Provide mentorship, performance management, and skills development opportunities for team members.
• Build excellent relationships with strategic partners and service providers to ensure co-investment, high quality service, while staying cost-effective.
• Oversee budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation for Platforms & Integration technology and services.

The experience we're looking for

• You have an entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
• You are collaborative and build bridges internally and externally.
• You have proven experience in the Platforms and Integration space, preferably in the Consumer Goods sector.
• You have a deep understanding of Platforms and Integration technology (e.g., Azure, Mulesoft, EDI).
• You stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends, such as Al, automation, and microservices architectures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
