About the role

As a member of our Global Data Science Chapter, you will play a key role in deriving insights from our data-driven solutions that empower our Marketing professionals to plan and optimize digital campaigns. Working in close collaboration with a cross-functional Product Squad, you will continuously provide feedback to improve predictive models and translate complex quantitative results into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

You’ll Focus On:

  • Business Impact: Execute test & learn analyses to support decision-making for marketing and brand teams, driving measurable improvements in campaign performance, customer engagement, and ultimately, bottom-line impact. 
  • Statistical Modeling: Executing and optimizing models - including regression, time series, and decomposition models - to maximize accuracy and incorporate expert feedback, while meeting performance standards. 
  • Product Development: Extend the existing methodology to cover additional regional markets and product categories by including and processing additional data sources. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product teams, consisting of Data Engineers, Software Developers, and Business Analysts, to identify and prioritize improvements to existing models and product capabilities. 
  • Storytelling & Communication: Translate complex analytical findings based on your solid understanding of statistics and econometrics into clear, compelling narratives using visualizations and business-friendly language. 
  • Community Building: Actively contribute to our AI & ML Community of Practice, sharing knowledge, and contributing to culture of continuous learning and innovation.  

You will succeed because You have:

  • Education: A Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Quantitative Economics. 
  • Experience: At least 3 year of hands-on deriving insights from complex quantitative models
  • Technical Expertise:  
    • Solid understanding of machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, time series forecasting, clustering, explainable AI, autoML).
    • Basic Python programming skills, experience with key libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, and statsmodels is a plus.
    • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Databricks, ML Flow is a plus.
    • Experience with BI tools like Power BI is a plus. 
  • Communication: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 
  • Adaptability: A collaborative mindset and willingness to work with multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Domain Knowledge in the area of marketing for FMCG (familiarity marketing concepts like media mix modelling, attribution modelling, market share data like Nielsen, ad performance analytics
