Senior Key Account Manager - Pharma Channel

As a Senior Key Account Manager with Reckitt, you’ll have the freedom to turn an already-strong customer relationship into something beautiful. You will support the Pharmacy Channel Director and oversee the activities of the junior account management personnel. You will direct and optimise the business’s most valued consumer relationships, bringing a strong analytical acumen and business development knowledge to the table.

About the role

Taking forward a dedicated category strategy for one of our biggest pharma customers, you’ll develop solutions that mean progress for their business and ours. You’ll manage JBP, negotiations, develop promotional strategies, and build relationships with buyers, field sales teams and category development managers. If you ever spot an opportunity make things better, you’ll take it. And by doing so, you’ll boost satisfaction as well as sales. 

Your responsibilities

  • Map key accounts and monitor competitor activities for the purpose of formulating informed strategies that will reduce business churn and give the business an edge over competition
  • Gather data and information, analyse it and provide formal reports for use in informed decision-making and strategy formulation
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to understand customer goals and key performance metrics and exceed those goals throughout the campaign
  • Play an analytical role, conduct research and gather data on consumer, market, and competitor activity with an aim of encouraging key account client acquisition and retention
  • Liaise with the finance department in determining the budgetary allocation for the department, voicing any concern of additional financial necessities in order to ensure optimal performance of the department
  • Manage the key account team and support them in achieving strategic objectives per customer (i.e. Sell-out, NR, COP, Market Shares, Gross Margin, NWC)

The experience we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in key account management gained within Pharma industry is a must
  • Working knowledge and experience with contracts and contract negotiations
  • Developed analytical skills, very good communication and influencing skills
  • Confident communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations
  • Strong focus on relationships, ability to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables
  • Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of a business
  • Creative and “out of the box” thinking, providing an added value for our clients
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study
  • Fluent Polish & English
  • Experience in team management would be an advantage
