About the role

As an Information Security Manager at Reckitt, you will help ensure that our products, platforms, and services are designed and operated securely while supporting the business to innovate and deliver value. Working within our Cyber function, you will act as a trusted advisor to IT and business teams, helping them understand, assess, and manage cyber risk in a practical and effective way.
In this role, you will build strong partnerships across the organisation, promoting a secure‑by‑design approach and ensuring that security policies, standards, and principles are embedded throughout the technology lifecycle. You will play an important part in identifying risks early, providing clear and pragmatic guidance, and helping teams make informed decisions that keep Reckitt and our customers protected.

Your responsibilities

  • .Acting as a trusted cyber security advisor to business and technology teams, providing clear and practical guidance on managing cyber risk.
  • Supporting the secure delivery of projects and initiatives by identifying risks early and recommending proportionate security controls.
  • Helping stakeholders understand cyber risks by translating technical issues into clear business impacts and mitigation options.
  • Partnering with teams across IT, architecture, and the business to promote a strong secure‑by‑design and risk‑aware culture.
  • Assessing the design and effectiveness of key security controls and working with control owners to strengthen them where needed.
  • Conducting and supporting cyber risk assessments across systems, applications, suppliers, and business processes.
  • Preparing clear cyber risk and control reporting for senior stakeholders, governance forums, and audits.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of Reckitt’s cyber risk management, governance, and third‑party security practices.

The experience we're looking for

  • Strong experience in cyber or information security risk management, governance, or assurance roles, ideally in large or complex organisations.
  • Ability to clearly assess and explain cyber risks in business terms to support informed decision‑making.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of recognised cyber security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing clear reporting and presentations for senior audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment while working both independently and as part of a team.
  • A pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach that balances strong security practices with business needs.
  • High integrity and sound judgement when handling sensitive information and cyber risk decisions.
