About the role

As the STP Cross-Functional Analyst, you will provide governance and escalation support across Source-to-Pay processes. Acting as the first point of escalation for BPO and market queries, you will investigate policy-driven exceptions, monitor SLA performance, and maintain structured logs for audit readiness. 

You will validate documentation for high-risk payment approvals, coordinate with OTC and RTR teams on interdependent issues, and manage operational queries between BPO and market teams. Additionally, you will analyse exception trends, contribute to root cause analysis, and recommend automation or upstream fixes to drive continuous improvement. 

Your responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of escalation for BPO and market queries before manager involvement. 
  • Investigate and resolve policy-driven exceptions (e.g., compliance, tax, DOA issues). 
  • Track BPO performance against SLAs and report breaches to the Manager. 
  • Maintain structured logs of escalations and exceptions for audit readiness. 
  • Validate and prepare documentation for high-risk or exception-based payment approvals under manager oversight. 
  • Support OTC and RTR teams in resolving interdependent issues. 
  • Participate in governance forums and provide insights on recurring pain points. 
  • Serve as the liaison for operational queries between BPO and market teams. 
  • Maintain query resolution dashboards and perform trend analysis. 
  • Analyse exception and query trends to recommend automation or upstream fixes. 
  • Contribute to root cause analysis for compliance gaps.

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience in Source-to-Pay, Finance Operations, or shared services environments 
  • Familiarity with procurement workflows, ERP systems, and governance frameworks 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset 
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to manage stakeholders effectively. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience in identifying process enhancements.
