Your responsibilities
Accounting & Costing
- Perform BOM Costing for Plan and new SKUs
- Lead the month-end process for the assigned responsibilities
- Perform month-end accruals for Tuas-related expenses (for departments assigned)
- Analyze and post routine and non-routine journals and post in SAP
- Analyze month end production variances and provide explanations
- Lead cost studies for new products and manage alignment among departments
- Perform Plan/Forecasts (FC1, FC2, FC3) of assigned areas and upload data in SAC/Fusion
- Perform other adhoc requirements
Reporting
- Prepare financial reports including Financial Scorecard
- Prepare reports for stakeholders and reports for Global & Regional submissions
- Prepare forecast and explain variances against last forecast etc.
- Other adhoc reporting and request for information
Others
- Support the business team in finance related aspects
- Support closely Tuas Finance Controller
The experience we're looking for
- Degree in Finance or Accounting - preferably Cost Accounting or ACCA qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry or Audit experience of manufacturing companies.
- SAP experience is preferred
- Business analysis experience
- Competency in Cost Analysis, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work under minimal supervision, flexible, show initiative and commitment in an environment of rapid change
- Ability to work as a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group
- Willing to work in Tuas
