About the role
Reporting to Production Supervisor, to manufacture quality products that meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. Production Technicians are responsible for executing the processing operations that support the needs of the business. Production Technicians also perform duties associated with operating, monitoring, connecting, cleaning and troubleshooting the drying equipment.
Your responsibilities
- Monitor and execute proper functions of the process equipment including wet process, dryers, fluid beds, bag houses and bulk transport systems.
- Operate the processing computer control system, including trouble shooting issues and monitoring while in operations.
- Adhere strictly to all GMP requirements to ensure proper manufacturing environment.
- Actively participate in the resolution of downtime issues.
- Assist in the creation of SOP's checklist, and work instructions whenever required.
- Perform all secondary duties associated with the processing operations (including maintaining of log-sheets and batch records).
- Perform all required cleaning as instructed (including making proper sanitary connections for all forms of cleaning).
- Perform chemical tests and maintain day tank levels whenever required.
- Perform all assigned preventative maintenance of drying equipment whenever required.
- Execute proper disassembly and assembly of various machineries in the production areas.
- Complete all necessary transactions, reports and documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment at all times.
- Demonstrate capability to use independent judgment and work well within a team environment.
The experience we're looking for
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Previous experience in food, pharmaceutical, or nutrition-related business and training preferred.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in the related fields of study (sciences, technical, health-related, food manufacturing, etc.).
- Close attention to detail and experience with detailed documentation of tasks performed.
- Proven ability to follow up and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills.

o Frequently required to stand and walk

o Frequently lift and/or move 5-15 kg, occasionally lift and/or move 30 kg - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
