About the role

We're in search of a proactive Quality Associate to join the Reckitt team, where innovation and science converge to make a real-world impact. Your responsibilities

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Quality Systems to support business strategies by ensure compliance to Quality Manual and applicable local regulatory requirements
  • Leader for the various Quality systems namely GLIMS, SAP , Supplier Management , Set up of Raw /Packaging Material Quality systems eg expiry date , specifications ,Customer Complaint, Mock recall, Compliance ( Supporting Internal and External Audit) .
  • Manage Customer Complaints - evaluate, investigate and corrective/preventive action planning, implement actions and monitor effectiveness.
  • Route the RMAQ (Raw material attribute questionnaire) review process for new material request from suppliers.
  • Implement and Lead Internal Audit and Self Inspection program and ensure compliance to requirements of:
    • GMP / HACCP pre-requisite programs
    • Quality systems
    • Halal/Kosher assurance system
  • Work with the Site document administrator to ensure local SOPs are aligned with current global and regional practices, supporting QMS initiatives.
  • Execute local Mock Recall exercise as per MJN procedures.
  • Support/Assist in Crisis situations, such as a Potential Product Recall, High Profile Customer Complaint.
  • Lead audits preparation (e.g. Global/Regional Quality Audit, External Certification Bodies), and follow-up on agreed audit findings and preventive measures.
  • Develop, implement and maintain Raw Material and Base Quality related documents eg specifications, expiry period, to be compliant with region/ local/market specific and compendia requirements.
  • Review and monitor Raw/Packaging material quality to identify potential problems which will affect the formulation and production.
  • Support Raw material qualification and requalification process for new and existing vendors.
  • SHE in Supplier Management of Raw/Packaging material vendor. Coordinates and contacts Raw material vendor with technical issues in assistance with Technical team and Procurement.
  • Develop and maintain Partners In Excellence programs for Raw/Packaging material vendors through assistance with Procurement.
  • Develop and maintain vendor specific raw material reduced testing program by creation of statistically based reduced testing programs.
  • Implement and maintain Raw material documents in conjunction with QC analysts. Documents may include: Methods, sampling programs to support production.
  • Act as Site SHE on matters related to GLIMS and coordinate with super-users for the site.
  • Maintain the MASTR in GLIMS for all materials (RAW, PACK, HALB).
  • Act as Site SME on matters related to SAP Quality Module and coordinate with super-users for the site.
  • Writes/revises documents, procedures and SOP's related to job.
  • Perform other tasks, roles or projects that may be assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.

The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum Diploma in a scientific or technical discipline (Chemistry, Food Science or related) preferred or with equivalent skill and experience.
  • Working experience in a GMP manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing of infant/ follow up formula/ pharmaceutical will be of advantage.
