About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organizational objectives. This role supports leadership teams (Tuas Site, ASEAN Supply and R&D) in driving performance, shaping culture, and enabling workforce effectiveness through HR interventions.

Your responsibilities

  • Partner with business functional leaders in ASEAN Supply, R&D, and Tuas Site to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Translate business needs into people solutions that drive performance and growth
  • Lead site’s workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy, and leadership development programs
  • Lead and drive talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development.
  • Drives talent to value, and partners with business leaders to ensure progress on closure of action plans
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee and industrial relations, conflict resolution, and workplace culture.
  • Design and lead site engagement strategy, aligned with global EVP
  • Facilitate site-wide engagement forums, employee engagement surveys, and action planning.
  • Partner with Site Leadership Team to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.
  • Drive local DEI initiatives, recognition programs, and wellness campaigns.
  • Shape site incentive structures, and recognition frameworks that drive performance and retention
  • Partner with HR COEs such as Talent, Talent Acquisition, and Rewards in executing global HR strategies at regional and site level
  • Collaborate with Global People Services (GPS) on HR Operations, ensure alignment to local policies and practices, and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure governance and compliance across HR practices, and support site internal audits such as Corporate Audits, Human Rights & Responsible Business, as well as external audits such as FDA, SFA, EDB, and other regulatory bodies
  • Indirectly manage HR team of two (2), HR Operations Senior Specialist and Talent Acquisition Adviso

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or human resources
  • At least 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in Business Partnering
  • Knowledge on local employment laws and practices
  • FMCG, Healthcare, Manufacturing industry experience will be highly preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management & influencing skills especially amongst senior management teams
  • Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills to communicate across different levels
