This role offers a dynamic opportunity to build leadership and management capabilities while contributing to high-impact technical initiatives across the organization. Focused on the development and delivery of VMS and OTC products—particularly those involving oral solid dosage (OSD) applications—the position plays a key part in technology transfer, process validation, and continuous improvement efforts.
The successful candidate will support capital projects and process specifications, applying end-to-end thinking and commercial insight to drive innovation and operational excellence. Working closely with the Process Engineer Lead, this role provides engineering support across manufacturing and packaging functions, including new equipment installations and process enhancements. It also requires strong influence across cross-functional teams, including supply, quality, and R&D, to ensure new and existing product developments are executed to plan and aligned with business priorities.
Your responsibilities
- Provides leadership in managing behaviour relative to policy, procedures and functionally assigned tasks
- Participate in the protection of the facility and physical assets of the plant.
- Drive work practices, policies and procedures that support meeting or exceeding safety, quality and production goals
- Develops and maintains interdepartmental and intradepartmental relationships to effectively work with all functional areas.
- Supports implementation the Technology Transfer process and to ensure that robust reproducible and efficient manufacturing processes are transferred into Production from R&D (NPD, EPD implementation), contract manufacturers or other Reckitt sites
- Support the overall validation and compliance efforts for the Wilson site. Generating and executing protocols, such as Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualifications (IOPQs), Process Validations (PVs) and Cleaning Validations (CVs).
- Liaises with quality, operations, maintenance, engineering, and planning to ensure expeditious validation/qualification of equipment, process improvements, and new processes/products introduced into the plant.
- Participates in the coordination and implementation of the capital planning projects from a process engineering / validation perspective.
- Participate in implementation continuous process development and improvement in the areas of cost, quality and customer service
- To continuously review manufacturing processes at the Wilson site and at contract manufacturers to determine the most cost-effective supply strategy
- Drives root cause analysis for failures and implements all corrective and preventative actions
- Organize and lead industrial trials as required during the technology transfer process. Both on site and at co-packer facilities.
- To ensure that the company’s strategic imperatives as they relate to the Technical Department are implemented
- Management of projects within budgets and deadlines to ensure implementation of the supply/technical strategy
- Assures compliance with all cGMPs.
- Effectively applies knowledge of FDA, and DEA guidelines.

The experience we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline

0–3 years of experience in the chemical industry or process engineering

Proficiency in using statistical tools for data analysis

Experience with project planning and coordination

Foundational knowledge and hands-on exposure to oral solid dosage (OSD) manufacturing technology

Basic experience in the pharmaceutical and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries

Familiarity with FDA regulations and compliance standards

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams

Understanding of material properties and processing technologies
