About the role

As a Quality Control Team Lead, your dedication to excellence in quality and compliance becomes the backbone of Reckitt. Here, you’ll be influencing global health outcomes through meticulous attention to our products and processes. Your expertise will not only maintain the highest standards within our supply and distribution chains but also empower our mission to protect, heal, and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world.

Your responsibilities

  • The role will lead people in an analytical laboratory ensuring effective use of resources. 
  • Prioritise day to day workload of the team to meet customer service requirements. 
  • Ensure people are trained in the application of techniques, use of instrumentation, software applications and new methods and procedures, and to maintain training files. 
  • Ensure people on team are adhering and remain in compliance to international standards of GLP, GMP and Health & Safety and always audit ready. 
  • Ensure that results are checked, approved, recorded and available for inspection. 
  • Maintain high standards of laboratory housekeeping in work area. 
  • Have ownership for the accurate collation of data and providing interpretation of trends in order to highlight concerns to QC leadership and through the supply chain. 
  • Ensure out of specification / out of trend results are thoroughly investigated and batch / stability failures are escalated quickly. 
  • Check the maintenance of QC Laboratory equipment. 

The experience we're looking for

  • BS in Science (Chemistry or related science).   
  • 5+ years of experience in a QC laboratory or similar setting. 
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role 
  • Requires experience with USP testing techniques 
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical quality systems.  
  • Working knowledge of IT systems. SAP, LIMS, Empower, Chromeleon etc.  
  • Analytically capable, able to understand and resolve technical issues.  
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to work cross functionally 
  • Project management skills  
  • Good communication, presentation and influencing skills.

Salary Range

 USD $72,000.00 - $108,000.00

Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
