About the role

As a Sr Project Engineer, Packaging and Warehouse Construction Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading capital investment initiatives and master plan projects across factory operations. You’ll provide technical direction and subject matter expertise in project construction management, project execution, and facility operational readiness. Your leadership will drive successful project delivery, and asset reliability while aligning with plant performance goals. You will be accountable for the construction scope of approximately $25- $50MM. The focus of this role will be to deliver the facility construction and CQ and turnover related to OSD operations serving blending, granulation, compaction, and coating, and associated connected corridors, cleaning, and storage.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the construction team (Reckitt, CM firm, Safety) to ensure safe, high‑quality project execution.
  • Oversee daily CM activities to drive progress, resolve field issues, and manage change notices.
  • Coordinate with engineering, system owners, and Project Engineering Services to meet readiness goals.
  • Monitor daily field work, address risks, and support milestone delivery using site systems and collaboration tools.
  • Enforce Reckitt safety standards and maintain a high‑performing construction environment.
  • Oversee delivery, installation, and integration of owner‑provided process equipment.
  • Act as system owner for architectural completeness, commissioning readiness, and CSA acceptance.
  • Lead construction work interfacing with active operations, ensuring clean‑construction protocols.
  • Review CM monthly cost reports and payment applications; ensure alignment with Project Controls.
  • Partner with Project Controls on changes, invoices, and monthly reporting.
  • Provide weekly progress/risk updates and monthly financial/schedule summaries.
  • Maintain an integrated schedule covering design, construction, CQ, validation, and turnover.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, agencies, and utilities to support construction needs.
  • Ensure accurate contractor turnover packages (documentation, materials, test reports).
  • Develop SOPs, PM schedules, and QMS documentation for electrical assets.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years engineering experience, including 2+ years in capital project management.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical construction and OSD equipment installation.
  • Proven OSD manufacturing engineering experience in operations, maintenance, or capital projects.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and project‑management/scheduling tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; effective cross‑functional leader.
  • Familiar with pharmaceutical, food & beverage, or healthcare manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of hygiene design, cleanroom electrical standards, and validation practices.
  • Solid understanding of the project execution lifecycle with a results‑driven approach.
  • Willing to travel up to 20% and work full‑time on construction sites.
  • Execution‑focused, eager to learn, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

US salary ranges

USD $115,000.00 -  $173,000.00

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
