About the role

We’re looking for a Validation Engineer to oversee and drive validation activities that support our CAPEX plan, Site Validation Master Plan, and strategic goals. This role ensures projects are delivered in compliance with the latest validation standards while continuously improving processes for cost-effectiveness and operational excellence.

 

You’ll work cross-functionally to anticipate validation impacts, lead by example, and promote consistency across all validation efforts. If you're passionate about quality, compliance, and continuous improvement, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Your responsibilities

  • Maintains site-wide Validation status and ensures CAPEX projects and change initiatives comply with current Validation standards through clear documentation and frequent status updates.
  • Leads and coordinates Validation activities across functions, aligning closely with Site Validation, Engineering, and Technical Managers to support CAPEX deliverables and the Site Validation Master Plan.
  • Drives continuous improvement in Validation processes to strengthen cost efficiency, quality, operational performance, and customer service across local and global manufacturing sites.
  • Manages multiple Validation projects within defined budget and timeline expectations, supporting broader supply strategy and departmental strategic imperatives.
  • Ensures audit readiness by upholding regulatory requirements for equipment, cleaning, and facilities validation, serving as a key contributor during inspections.
  • Provides troubleshooting and strategic Validation guidance to US and global sites while balancing competing priorities and maintaining full compliance.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments, including direct involvement in validation activities.
  • Navigates EU and FDA regulatory requirements while contributing to compliant, high‑quality pharmaceutical operations.
  • Leverages experience with material properties and manufacturing/processing technologies across varied production settings.
  • Leads and develops small teams by removing obstacles, improving performance, and ensuring delivery of key outcomes.
  • Drives cross‑functional problem‑solving initiatives, managing complex cause‑and‑effect relationships and advancing continuous improvement efforts.

US salary ranges

USD $88,000.00 -  $132,000.00

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
