Your responsibilities

People Management

  • Maintain CMMS SAP Maintenance System for work requests and PM job plans
  • Facilitates and communicates planned maintenance activities with production / crafts from shift to shift
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisors and Project Engineers in the planning of work requests and PM's to achieve timely completion goals.
  • Ability to manage outages and maintenance projects, long term maintenance planning for future outages, corrective maintenance, and projects to be accomplished by an on site maintenance team
  • Collaborates with maintenance supervision to manage work tasks for internal / external resources
  • Coordinates with contractors and maintenance to support Manufacturing areas to plan / schedule repair work as necessary.
  • Develops a culture of teamwork to effectively plan / schedule maintenance activities
  • Maintains a positive relationship with all crafts / contractors

 
Safety/GMP

  • Work with crafts to achieve individual and developmental safety goal.
  • Ensures accurate filing systems are maintained to support cGMP requirements
  • Actively participates in safety initiatives to support overall safety program.
  • Knowledge of HACCP/GMP/FDA/MIOSHA safety standards

 
Productivity

  • Plans and schedules maintenance and repair work at times that are convenient to operations and when maintenance has the necessary manpower, parts, tools, and workshop space available; that is, to effectively use the maintenance labor force, equipment downtime, and maintenance facilities.
  • Provides technical assistance and/or resources to address maintenance issues as required
  • Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and efficiency of the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) for the purpose of tracking equipment history, labor & material spending, and all maintenance activities related to the facility and production equipment.
  • Develops equipment lists, design criteria codes, load new equipment into computer information system, to better utilize the information in the system.
  • Completes timely follow-up of planned maintenance activities
  • Knowledge of our processes and required maintenance best practices to resolve potential problems before they have a chance to develop into maintenance delays.

 
Financial Performance

  • Assist with the management of contracted maintenance expense budgets
  • Working knowledge of Maintenance CC/GL accounts and classifications

The experience we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience as a maintenance planner/scheduler. 
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a food or pharmaceutical industry preferred.

US salary ranges

USD $73,000.00 -  $109,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
