About the role

Reckitt is seeking an astute Buyer – NPS to strategically manoeuvre through the procurement landscape, ensuring our teams have everything they need to excel. You will fine-tune procurement activities across vital categories, guaranteeing efficient, cost-effective supply chains that drive Reckitt's continued success. Your expertise will not only cement smooth operations but also flourish long-standing supplier collaborations. Your responsibilities

- Close partnership with the Factory, Finance, Supply and other teams to understand the business area budgets and projects required to meet that budget or improve it.

- Collaborates with key stakeholders and works cross-functionally, if necessary, in developing and executing sourcing recommendations in partnership with internal stakeholders and vendors.

- Understands indirect material spends across the business, analyses category markets, and translates into actionable strategies. Identifies, selects, and develops suppliers, negotiates, and contracts the services as required.

- Motivates suppliers to treat the company as preferred customer in presenting innovation and/or cost/efficiency projects.

- Accountable to continuously improve supplier performance including service and quality.

- Identifies and monitor risks and opportunities related to each category. Drive the organisation to mitigate identified risks and to quickly implement opportunities adopting creative solutions.

- Designs verifies and amends contracts in conjunction with Legal Function

- Lead Major CAPEX cost preparation for the Nigerian factory.

The experience we're looking for

- Proven background in procurement or a related field with a strong grasp of supply chain operations.
- Aptitude for negotiations coupled with solid analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Meticulous and adept at juggling various tasks with a track record of efficiency.
- Effective communicator across all business levels.
- Proficient with procurement software and a whiz with the MS Office Suite.
