Our Early Careers Application Journey

Applying for an Early Careers position - such as a graduate role or internship - is an exciting opportunity and we’re here to support you throughout the process.

Our strength-based assessment process* is designed to bring to life your unique potential and abilities, rather than focusing solely on experience. Examples of some of the strengths we are measuring include your adaptability, collaboration and growth mindset.

Online assessment

Your first stage helps us understand how you might navigate challenges in a fast-paced environment.

  • If you meet the eligibility criteria for the role you have applied for, you’ll be invited to complete an online strength-based assessment.
  • This includes cognitive, behavioural, and numerical reasoning questions designed to evaluate your problem-solving skills and logical thinking in real-life work scenarios.
  • It’s important you answer authentically, reflecting your true skills, strengths and personality.
  • The assessment is not timed, so you’re able to work through each question at your own pace.

Video assessment

If you pass the online assessment, you will be invited for the Video Interview.

In this stage, you’ll need to be ready to record responses to a set of questions.

  • You’ll start with a practice question to ensure everything is working correctly. This is your chance to check your Wi-Fi connection, microphone, and camera settings are all correct.
  • The video assessment is timed, but stay calm, speak clearly, and make your answers count. If you need extra time, you can select this option when you apply, or simply let us know!
  • This is your chance to shine, so just be yourself! We’re eager to learn about you and your motivations, how you’ve approached different situations, and your understanding of the role.
  • Our recruiters review every video carefully, so take your time and let your personality, enthusiasm, and strengths shine through to show your fit for the role.

Assessment Centre or Local Interview

Your final stage will be either an assessment centre or a local interview, depending on the role and location.

  • Our assessment centres will consist of individual and group exercises.
  • Your recruiter will provide all the details, so you’ll know exactly what to expect and can approach this final stage with confidence.

What happens afterwards?

Because we believe you should have a positive experience, irrespective of the outcome, we’ll do very our best to keep you informed and get back to you as soon as possible about the progress of your application.
